HANDLEBAR COMPATIBILITY

IMPORTANT: ALWAYS MOUNT BARYAK DIRECTLY TO HANDLEBARS (do not use tape)

Expedition Rail MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Determine desired BarYak placement

   • If mounting to drop bars, you may need to unwrap the top section of handlebar tape for desired clamping width.

2. Using supplied screws, secure C-clamp (bottom) around the handlebar to BarYak rails

3. Important: BarYak must be mounted directly to handlebars. DO NOT use tape.

4. Using a 4mm Allen wrench, evenly tighten the bolts

   • Torque Specifications: 5.7Nm (4.2 foot-pounds)

5. Carbon Bar ends - tighten these bolts to a torque 4.7N-m

6. Do not route the brake or shifter cable housing underneath the aerobar brackets—this will affect braking and/or shifting performance

Profile Design ArmRest Pad & Bracket MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

Complete BarYak Expedition and Profile Design Flip-Up system requires a minimum of 1 7/16” of space on either side of the stem

1. Mount each Profile Design bracket with 1/8" of space outside of each Expedition Rail

2. Secure the lower bracket (C-clamp) to the handlebar by inserting the bolts through the C-clamp and threading them up into the top flip-up assembly.

3. Using the 5mm Allen wrench, evenly tighten the bolts

   • Torque Specifications: 5.7Nm (4.2 foot-pounds)

4. Note: You may have to unwrap the top section of the handlebar tape for the desired clamping width.

5. Maintenance Tip: We recommend using a drop of chain lube on the hinge of the Profile Design Flip-Up armrest for longevity and noise reduction on rugged terrain.
